" The breath is a divine medicine that we all carry within us. It can be used at any moment to change the way we feel and view things, both internally and externally" -Connie Marsh ( Founder, Psyche Assist)
For centuries, humanity has know the power of the breath. We have known that conscious breathing creates relaxation within the body. It allows the nervous system to relax. Deep breathing increases the supply of oxygen to your brain and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of calmness. When we are met with challenging situations within our day, we can feel like we are in danger, therefore we lock up our breath and prepare to protect ourselves. 99.9% of the time we are not in danger, although the message is still the same. By consciously breathing, we allow ourselves to emotionally come back to a place of balance and peace.
Coming Back To Your True Divine
As a certified, trauma-informed facilitator, Connie will vary and guide the sessions in the direction that best serves the person or collective. Some sessions are intense, powerful and extremely emotional, while others are more light-hearted, healing and restful. Individual breathwork sessions and collectives are dynamic, and a participant will never have the same experience twice. After the session, participants are encouraged to stretch, take some time coming back to present awareness, journal and reflect what came through during session. Connie holds space for sharing and integration afterwards if one is feeling the need for extra support with their experience.
