1:1 LIFE ADVISORY
Having a life advisor can be incredibly beneficial for individuals who are looking to improve their overall well-being, manage stress and anxiety, navigate challenging life transitions, or work through personal issues. My role as a life advisor is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into your behaviors and patterns, and develop skills to cope with difficult emotions.
By meeting once a week or every other week, in person or via zoom, we can explore your inner world and learn to identify and work with different parts of yourself that may not be in alignment. By gaining a greater awareness to self and acceptance to your own internal dynamics, you can begin to gain greater insight into your life experience and towards a more integrated and fulfilling self.
Identifying, exploring, and integrating parts of oneself that may be hidden or repressed. These parts can include the inner critic, the wounded child, the protector, and the higher self, among others. The goal of shadow or as I like to call it, parts work, is to help you become more aware of your inner dynamics, better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and ultimately integrate these parts into a more cohesive sense of self. Through this process, you can gain greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and a deeper understanding to yourself, leading to more authentic and fulfilling life.
Our body stores trauma and creates patterns based on the trauma we've stored in order to "protect" us. But sometimes that pattern created in the body is no longer useful to us. By using somatic tools you are able to become more embodied, regulate regulate your nervous system, release tension and trauma, improve your physical health, and enhance your emotional and mental resilience.
The Inner Child is in my opinion one of the most important "parts" of one self. I believe that it is the part within yourself that is the closest to your true authentic self. The inner child is the part of ourselves that holds our earliest memories, emotions, and beliefs thus is the base of our internal programing and creator of the lenses that we see the world through today. By connecting with you inner child, you can better understand how past impact your current behaviors, relationships, and overall sense of self.
